The day before we returned from Europe I received news that my dad died. He was 85 years old and a latecomer to the Christian family. Nonetheless he cramed a lifetime of Christian experience into his last 20 years and now he is with the Lord.
I loved him. He loved me. He will be missed.

Doug,
Condolences to you and your family from Alisa and me. I'm sure that you will be forever thankful that your dad came to the Lord and was able to experience His grace. The saying, "better late than never" never rang so true.
Love,
Ted and Alisa Mendenhall
Doug,
Recently our son, TedII, phoned to tell us about your dad. The greatest gift that you can share with your wife and children are your memories of your dad and the stories that he shared with you. I encourage you to write down as much as you can remember, because one day your grandchildren will want to hear those adventures, too. May the good Lord continue to hold you in His loving arms. Your friends in Christ, Ted and Betsey Mendenhall
Doug,
I'm sorry to hear the news about your father passing. May God comfort you and your family in this time.
God Bless,
Tim
